Chozen Kind is a luxury loungewear label built around calm confidence, comfort that feels intentional, and details you notice only when you get close. We design elevated essentials from premium modal and cotton – eco-friendly, plant-derived fibers chosen for their breathability, softness, and lasting weight. Moving away from petroleum-based synthetics and the disposability of mass-market production, every silhouette is pared down, considered, and made to feel effortless on the body.
The brand is rooted in Los Angeles, shaped by the city's mix of sunlight, grit, and creative discipline. Chozen Kind comes from an artist's mindset: reduce the noise, sharpen the point, and let materials and proportion carry the emotion. Our inspiration lives in contrasts, softness and structure, simplicity and character, restraint and edge, translating into pieces that feel understated at first and unmistakable in wear.
We work in small batches with a hands-on process from sampling to final finishing. Our commitment to plant-derived and natural fibers – modal from beech tree cellulose, blended with cotton – means no petroleum-based synthetics, and no compromise on how the fabric feels against skin. Construction choices are treated as design: stitching, trims, fit, and weight are refined until the garment feels complete. Each piece is made with meticulous attention to touch and longevity, with subtle handmade signals that separate it from mass production.
